Our Story
Nestled amidst the serene Dandoba Hills of Khanderajuri in Miraj Taluka, Royal Officers Preparatory Academy was born from a bold vision — to create an institution in rural Maharashtra that could rival the best military-style residential schools in India.
Founded around 2008, ROPA started as a small initiative to provide quality education combined with military discipline to students from Sangli district and surrounding regions. Over the years, the academy has grown into a government-recognized residential junior college serving hundreds of students.
What sets ROPA apart is its integrated approach: students don't just prepare for their 11th and 12th standard board exams — they simultaneously undergo NDA preparation, competitive exam coaching, physical training, and personality development. This holistic model has produced 141+ defense selections and 121+ competitive exam achievers.
Today, ROPA stands as a beacon of hope for families in rural Maharashtra who dream of seeing their children serve the nation — whether in the armed forces, civil services, or professional fields. Every sunrise at Dandoba Hills begins with a parade, a pledge, and a promise to build a better future.
